Mr. Raleys Classroom
About Me
Teaching the Next Generation
When I was growing up, I loved playing soccer and continued playing in college. My mind was far away from the classroom. Never in a million years would I have guessed that I would be fully involved in the thing I hated most growing up, school. When I finished playing in college, I decided I wanted to coach. While I was coaching soccer, I discovered my love for teaching and kids' mental health. Therefore, I switched degrees from psychology to elementary education and began studying to become an elementary teacher.
When I am not studying to be a teacher, I am coaching soccer at North Carolina Football Club (NCFC) Classic programs. I am proudly going onto my tenth year of coaching professional youth soccer with my national C license in hand.
My family is my foundation, and I am blessed to be the third Raley teacher within my family. We spend late nights discussing everything from the philosophy of education to the neurological physiology/psychology of learning. We are a house of lifelong learners who challenge each other to be humble and strive to be great.
